Benefits of Membership
Mothers & More is like no other mothers’ organization around. We focus on YOU as a mother, woman and individual and we provide both face-to-face and virtual connections.
Membership in Mothers & More provides you with opportunities to:
- re-connect with your yourself and the “more” you’re looking for in life,
- connect with other mothers in your neighborhood and across the nation, face-to-face and virtually, to share, learn, grow and have fun,
- connect with the world in a new way by recognizing how your daily life is affected by, and finding ways to handle, society’s assumptions about mothers and motherhood.
Chapters
Our nationwide network of chapters enable you to make all three connections right in your own community! Each chapter is unique, but all offer monthly meetings on interesting topics that educate and validate your feelings as a mother and a woman as well as provide a variety of other ways to connect and have fun. Take part in moms’ nights out, book clubs, playgroups and other mom and kids activities, seasoned moms groups, family outings, learning opportunities, occasions to get involved with your community, and more. If there isn’t a chapter in your area already, we provide all the tools and hands-on support to help you create one!
Forum
A unique online publication written by and for our members, enabling all of us to connect with the world. The content consists of honest and insightful essays written by real mothers, along with articles that address relevant topics that educate, such as transitioning to and from the workforce, modern-day parenting challenges, policies affecting mothers, family dynamics, personal enrichment, book reviews, as well as highlights of what members and chapters are doing across the country. We invite you to read some excerpts.
Online Topical Discussions
Over 30 interest-specific email lists connect you with like-minded mothers across the country. Popular topics include Seasoned Moms, POWER, Toddler Moms, Online Reading Club and many more. From Cranky Moms to Advocacy, our conversation loops provide something for everyone, whether you are looking to feed your personal passions or learn about issues that affect you as a mother, or connect with mothers who understand you at any hour of the day. Leadership opportunities
