13 Things About Josie Queen
- I have been a member of Mothers & More for just one year. I haven’t had much of a chance to attend any of the nights out or playgroups, but it’s great having a support group of so many awesome women.
- I live in New Haven, CT and belong to the Greater New Haven Chapter 297.
- I do not have a personal blog or Twitter. I’m a wee bit behind the times, but intend on catching up with them soon.
- I almost met Keanu Reeves. He was sitting a couple of rows away from me and my husband at a Shakespeare play in Central Park (I was so mesmerized I don’t even remember which play). I spent the entire three hours craning my neck trying to see what Keanu was doing. I didn’t have the nerve to go and talk to him. Does that count as meeting someone famous?
- I will not eat liver or kidneys. Any organs actually. Do I need to explain? I really don’t eat meat anyway, but those are just unnecessary meal choices.
- If I could turn invisible, I would go into the restaurant kitchen after I send back my food for not being quite what I ordered. I would like to know what happens to it before it makes its way back to my table. Or maybe I’d hang out in George Clooney’s house for a day, it’s a toss up really.
- My favorite word is “bugger”. It’s such an offensive word in England (where I grew up) but doesn’t have quite the same connotation here in the US, so it’s perfect as a throw away cuss.
- My least favorite word, I have to say it’s the “n” word, I don’t even want to write it it’s so ugly and brings up a whole history of pain and human confinement. It seems to be used so lightly in the media these days without any regard to where it stems from.
- Without a doubt, I love the sound of my daughter’s laughter.
- I hate car alarms. Especially at 3am.
- If I could be anything, it would be a world renowned author. Or a travel writer.
- I don’t have the disposition to be any type of health care worker and I have so much admiration for those people who spend their lives caring for others – especially pediatric doctors and nurses.
- I love writing and I felt it was time to stop writing for hours and then hiding it in my desk drawer (or USB).
